The game tells me to update but there's no update available.

Updates can take a while to filter through to all regions, so if you're prompted to update the game but there isn't one showing for you, please try the following steps:

iOS

Refresh the pending update list:

  1. Open the App Store.
  2. Tap on your Apple ID profile picture in the top right corner.
  3. If you have updates already pending, they’ll be at the bottom of your screen.
  4. If Bloons TD 6 does not appear in that list, pull the list down to refresh.

Sign out/in of your Apple ID: 

  1. From your device's Home screen; navigate to: Settings Settings icon > iTunes & App Store.
  2. To sign out, tap the Apple ID then tap "Sign Out".
  3. Then, restart your device and sign back in.
  4. Check to see if the update is now available.

 

Android - Google Play

Refresh the pending update list:

  1. Open the Google Play Store app.
  2. Tap Menu (the three line icon at the top corner).
  3. Then select "My apps and games".
  4. Apps with an update available are labelled 'Update'.
  5. If Bloons TD 6 does not appear in that list, pull the list down to refresh.

Clear your cache:

  1. Go to settings.
  2. Head over to applications.
  3. Open all applications/manage applications.
  4. Move onto the Google Play Store.
  5. Clear cache.

Then

  1. Go to settings.
  2. Head over to applications.
  3. Open all applications/manage applications.
  4. Move onto Bloons TD 6.
  5. Clear cache.

Once you've completed these steps, check the Google Play Store again to see if the update is available.

 

Steam

1. Restart your computer and launch Steam.
2. From the Library section, right-click on the game and select "Properties" from the menu.
3. Select the "Local files" tab and click "Verify integrity of game files".
4. Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.

 

Windows Store

On the Windows Store version of the game, you'll usually encounter this issue if you've played a newer version of the game on another device. Please check the Windows Store to ensure you've installed the latest update. If there is no update available, please bear with us as it'll be available shortly.
